Adding Diversity to the American Diet
Arepo ‘e huevo
Good afternoon, morning, evening, middle of the night! Co-hosted by LVNGbook’s Shaun Chavis, we dive into the American diet and inclusivity. Why do the CDC Guidelines lack the diverse heritage of this country? Why is it that tradition of one culture is unhealthy for another? Who the heck sets up these guidelines anyway? Individualized diets are more impactful than any fad diet will ever be.
Our unique bodies, backgrounds, locations, and body type aren’t meant for one-size-fits-all prescriptive advice. Rather, we are meant to embrace who we are, where we came from, and what we want to be as an individual.
